Cloak of Nor

The Cloak of Nor was a powerful spell woven by the High Archon in the Nightwhisper Dale in SpellForce: The Order of Dawn.

The High Archon's spell was devoted to the renegade god Nor himself and would cancel out any black magic effects that would affect the target.

Renders the target immune versus the extermination spells of the Blades' Black Towers

After the rune warrior had liberated the High Archon from the Kithar warriors east of the dark elves' city in the Nightwhisper Dale, she needed to find a way to get to the Breathing Wood. However the Blades constructed two Black Towers that would obliterate anyone daring to get close.

According to the High Archon the magic used by the Blades was similar to the Norcaine one and thus he was able to create a spell that could cancel out said magic temporarely. With the Cloak of Nor active the Phoenix Bearer then headed right through the Black Tower blockade and reached the Breathing Wood.

Although while being considered as black magic, this spell is portrayed as a white magic spell with both effects and with the interface icon of the white magic spell Invulnerability.
